Help! Last Mission

I'm playing on regular Xbox, and can NOT find a walkthrough anywhere. Whenever i think i found one, no. only for xbox 360. so i did fine through the rest of the game. but the final mission, with that bastard in the helicopter, and i only have one weapon to use. my team mate is an idiot and keeps getting himself killed, wont listen to me. does anybody have any help, or walkthroughs at all? i'm going crazy here. i only use walkthroughs as a last resort, and i'm there. i'm desperate, anyone that can lend a hand, i would be very greatful.

MAke sure your squad is in assault mode (if theyre in recon they wait until fired upon and i mean they wait)

I hate to say it but i believe that the xbox and 360 versions have the same endings (the end of the xbox 360 version you are trying to stop carlos ontiveros from transmitting the codes he'll eventually come onto the roof of the blown out us embassy building oh and btw if your seeing helicopters get behind some cover
(i actually think that you get a blackhawk as a support unit for the end) i could be wrong

And also what weapon do you have?????

(i recommend anything with a scope unless your Really excellent with grenades (because theyre are alot of enemies looking for you and )

MAN, THOSE LAST TWO MISSIONS ARE PSYCHO-MENTAL!! The palace and the embassy - suddenly the world's on fire!!

If it helps...just plug away...you're not doing anything wrong (I think the mission objectives are a bit obscure toward the end)..eventually you'll get the sod!

And I'm off to buy Halo 3.......
