It never ends

The crap just keeps getting ladelled out by the gallons. It seems like every week there's a new movie or book "documenting" the coverup of something by someone. It's been 6 years now since the election of 2000 and the falacy of stolen votes and intimidated voters is still being promoted by conspiracy nuts and Democrats. When will we just move on? Our electoral system is the best in the world. Sure, it has its faults, but how can anyone guarantee every vote by 350,000,000 people will be recorded with %100 accuracy? It's impossible. The only way to do it would be to require that every state use the same vote-recording machines, stamp every voting register with the voter's fingerprint, and keep the registrar's rolls secured. Until then, to you whiners, shut up.

I think people who experienced the debacle of 2000/2004 want to keep the rest of the public aware of it and make sure it's never forgotten. It's not "oh get over it you whiners"; what an ignorant and dismissive attitude to have. Did you even see the movie? I don't know how anyone could and just shrug it off as not a big deal. This isn't a partisan issue, it's the integrity of our country and what it stands for that is being threatened.

I have made the mistake of being honest with you.

It becomes an issue of needing watchdogs to make sure this *beep* doesn't happen again. If it could work two elections in a row and you deliberatly suppress minority votes to guarantee a win, who's to stop these same people from continually doing this over and over.

Come on, the champion for freedom and liberty known as Thomas Jefferson would be disgusted by what the powerful and influential in this country have done in the name of democracy--that goes for any candidate. Nowadays, the elections are so scientific they can place the exact district that will be the 'decider', which gives the states' secretary's the power to suppress votes in that region.

The elections, 9/11, Iraq, these things were allowed to happen and not be questioned because the American media has become the corporation news center. We need a free press and better watchdogs.

jerryrip54 - You are right...willful ignorance like yours never ends.

If you had stood in the rain for hours expecting to vote as a citizen legally registered to do so and the right was yanked out from under you...tell me how you'd just 'let it go' and 'move on'.
Get accustomed to the idea that this administration cheated their way in twice... once in Florida, once in Ohio. Stop dismissing people who are patriotic enough to care when hard-won rights get trashed.

"Our electoral system is the best in the world."

You mean the one where the President got shoved into office by a 5-4 decision on the Supreme Court, IGNORING the popular vote? That's the best, is it?

Good grief!!
