I have to admit I was really very irritated with the survivors... the way they talked about hearing/watching their mates be eaten alive by sharks with absolutely 0 emotion. I don't understand. It was awful
Gahh I wanted to puke
just sayin.
They are probably numb to the memories of hearing/watching their friends being eaten alive by the sharks. When something so tragic like that happens some people just grow cold about that moment in time because they don't want to relive it.
shareI was more irritated that those people wouldn't listen to the 2 survivors. They basically killed themselves while making the rest traumatically watch.
This episode sure hammered in the point to never drink from the ocean. And while being attacked by a shark might be more rare then being struck by lightning they still scare the **** out of me.
The event happened some 20 years before the episode was filmed. They had every reason to be somewhat emotionally detached. I actually thought the female survivor was quite distressed in some parts of her interview.
