So predictable it hurts...

Let's see, family's home is built on an old burial ground? Abnormal kid starts having visions? His final act is to dig up the old bodies and finally put the spirits to rest?

It's just a redo of Poltergeist/Sixth Sense/Exorcist/Stir of Echoes, aka every ghost story ever made. The only original thing it had going for it was that the main character was dying of cancer, and he was unable to admit that he was seeing supernatural visions. Other than that, a big old waste of time.

And I liked how they added the drunken dad in there as a homage to the Shining. Really, what was the point of that? Any bearing on the plot? Nope? okay then.

I got that same tired reaction; same old, same old, based on a true story . blah, blah .

Heard The Discovery Documentary is far better.

The movie is trash. I have the Discovery documentary on DVD. It's so much better and very creepy. I don't get scared easily but this creeps me out.
