..a bunch of religious *beep*

...honestly, is it only the religious that seem to have these 'hauntings'?

I submit it to you that if someone you know is having visions and hallucinations that you don't see or experience, then this person suffers with psychosis and possibly schizophrenia.

There is enough scientific evidence to put these absurd suggestions of hauntings; ghosts and gules to bed.

All this movie suggested to me was that this kid existed in an extremely religious household but also suffered with a form of psychosis..and his religitard family members wrote it off as some kind of haunting or 'demonic possession'.

...it's so pathetic.

I agree that 99/100 "hauntings" do seem to take place in a religious family. I suppose if you already believe in the a supernatural "good", then it's an easy step to believe in the "evil" version. Personally I'm with you, there maybe something's that are unexplained, but that does not equate to ghouly ghosties running about.

Why would a demonic entity harass a nonbeliever of God when technically according to their rules they already have your soul due to you being a non believer. The last thing they would want to do is to shake you up and then you would then become all religious. They prefer to torture and mock the faithful due to their faithfulness. And to perhaps cause them misery.

I agree with you. Atheists don't believe in demons and the devil, so what sense would it make for them to terrorize them and prove they're real? Therefore proving there's some truth to all the so called "religious mumbo jumbo" and making them an Atheist no longer. To me it makes more sense to try and possess religious people to give them the impression they're more powerful than God.
