A few years ago on a British talk back show similar to Oprah, they had the topic of women who wrote to killers in jail and become infatuated by them. On the show they had a girl who was Ian Brady's daughter - this wasn't mentioned in the film.

Does anyone know any more about her?

I believe that the woman you're referring to wrote a book claiming to be Brady's daughter but that it was all a scam to make money.

I believe her name was Christine Hart or something, she wrote a book "the devil's daughter" back in the early 90's.
