Should Brady be allowed to die in exchange for telling the police where Keith Bennett is buried? I mean, should the agreement be made and he only be allowed to die once the body has been found and confirmed to be Keith? Part of me says yes in order to allow Keith's poor Mother to final bury her son but the other part says no and that Brady should be allowed to die a slow and painful death in prison as he will probably never reveal where Keith is, if he even remembers after all this time.

Just wondered what other people might think of this.

Im half and half on this, part of me wanted him to be hanged in 1966 but then if that happend no one would have found out about Pauline Reade and Keith Bennett, and the other half of me wants him to suffer in GREAT pain for many decades to come.

I feel that he should be released, I mean he's served 40 plus years now and must be due for parole. However, I would make one (or two) proviso(s) for his release conditions; he should be placed back into society without any Police protection and without a new identity, all cctv cameras should be obscured in the immediate area for about, say, half an hour, and then we could sit back and let nature take its course.

He should not be released, neither of them would tell where Kieth Bennett is buried. His family still do not know where he is

You make it sound as if Brady knows where Keith's body is... he doesn't. The crime happened over 40 years ago and despite Brady & Hindley going to the Moors with the police to help find the body in the late 80s he couldn't remember the exact location and it's doubtful now wether he will ever be found.
As for letting Brady die - no. For one thing he didn't give his victims the choice of life or death so why should he be allowed it? Secondly, if they allowed it every other madman in Broadmoor and the like would demand the same thing and euthenasia enthusiasts would join in and it would spiral out of control.

I feel sad that i have to type this but here goes...I wish with all my heart that his mother had aborted the son of a bitch, but alas like hitlers old ma she didn't...No he should not be allowed to die because that is what he wants, i hope he lives till he's 100 because its so obvious that every day on this earth is painful for him, and when he does perish i hope he suffers every bit as long a lingering death as he has bestowed on his poor little victims.

Im really in 2 minds about this,in one mind i think he should be kept alive forever and made too suffer for his actions but in the other wouldnt it be a good idea to let him die rather than spend money to keep this scumbag alive and there would be an end to it all.

Ian Brady should not be allowed to die, or more accurately, helped to die, for any reason. As for releasing him, I don't believe he is fit for release (and neither does he) in the way that Myra Hindley was.

No, I don't think Brady should be allowed to die.
He needs to suffer like the families of his poor victims have.
Recently read the new Myra Hindley biography, I certainly now believe that she was no victim either or that Brady did force her to take part in these shocking crimes.

I think you should come here to Manchester and see what the reaction will be. Plenty of people waiting to dance on his grave when he dies.... he should be left until he dies. He was lucky to miss being hung by less than two years and life means life

The son of bitch should not be allowed to die with any sympathy, he should be locked away in a cell by himself and be left to starve a painful death until he dies of starvation and dehydration, that way you don't have to worry about your tax money going towards feeding the *beep* piece of useless *beep* *beep* scumbag!

No, thats what he wants therefore he doesn't deserve it.

However the police should lie to him, promising to let him die if he tells them where the body of Keith is and then as soon as he tells them and they hopefully find the body, tell him that it was all a life and that he will be kept alive.
