It's been a long time since I watched so maybe my memory is really foggy, but I thought pinsent was breathtaking and showing his pain he tried to make not so obvious at times. I personally think it was a difficult role to do and he nailed it. So I'm surprised he wasn't even nominated for an oscar. I do hope he got a mention or something.

He didn't get the recognition he deserved at all. But there are many actors and actresses who give outstanding performances and receive little to no attention for their role. It's a shame.
