Were the actors' voices in this movie dubbed? The voices don't always seem to match the mouths as the lines are being spoken or they seem too "American" sounding.

shareI think the actors WERE speaking in english because for the mast part they matched but they were just slightly off. most likely the actors had thick or varying accents and they dubbed them so that it seemed more natural with the jews having one accent and the romans having another, instead of just having a mixed lot.
