I think what they were trying to do....

I've seen the original "Inquiry" movie with Keith Carradine, and I think what they did with this remake is to make it more "religion-friendly". Let's face it: a typical hard-core Christian would be very uncomfortable watching the Keith Carradine version (especially the crucifixion and the very last scene). I don't really practice my religion anymore, but even I felt unsettled after watching the 2 scenes I mentioned.
