I think the plot is soo similar to the 'The Avengers' movie (2012 motion picture).

shareThat's probably because both this movie and the 2012 Avengers film were based on the first arc of "The Ultimates" comics that first came out in 2002, where Nick Fury set up the Avengers to fight an alien invasion, specifically the Chitauri invasion.
