1. In a third season episode, Zane calls Bella "Emma".

In season three it shows that Cleo needs help with Ronnie. Which is odd since it was most likely her close relationship with Ronnie that got her the job.

In "The Siren Effect" Cleo tells Miss Chatham that it's a Wednesday. In the same episode, Rikki and Emma stay over at her house. Why is she having a sleepover on a school night? And why aren't the girls getting ready for school the next day?
"Under the Weather" isn't a mistake per say but raises a lot of questions. The girls are getting ready for a party at the end. They *just* admitted they faked being sick to get out of going to school. The entire HOUSE was quarantined and specialists were called in. Their parents don't punish them at all for wasting everyone's time? And again, this is a party on a school night. Are Australian teenagers just that hardcore?

I don't recall exactly which episode it was in, as I've been marathoning the series for the past few hours, but there was a scene either late in season 1 or early in season 2 where Cleo put her hand on Lewis's shirt, which was at the time soaked, and didn't grow a tail.
"Mom! The toilet's in love with Andy!"
In season 1 there's an entire episode about how Cleo can't sing and the first time she sees the full moon she gets the powers to sing well and during the day her powers go away and everyone thinks she's terrible. Then in the series finale she is singing with Rikki and Bella.

Another thing I thought of is that Cleo is very much an awkward shrinking violet in S1. In that episode, she's pushed on stage by Rikki. It could be that she just had stage fright, and that she just grew more confident over the years - thanks to her mermaid powers and relationship with Lewis - to the point where she'd be more comfortable singing
