ok so i saw the pilot episode a few days ago and i absolutely love this show so far and i hope that its not canceled already and it probably isnt but when it says at the top of the Whistler page on IMDB that its from year (2006-2006)..doesnt that mean that its only on for one year? normally it would say (2006-????)if they dont know how long its going to be on for but its like they already know its only going to be showed for a year.. does anyone know if its canceled yet or if its only on for a year?

Already renewed, or at least so I hear.

It was orginally billed as a thirteen part miniseries where the mystery surrounding Beck's death is revealed in the thirteenth and final episode. That's the reason it says 2006-2006. However, it has been renewed and I for one am interested in seeing how they are going to continue it.

Season 2 starts shooting in November, I think.

i was hoping it would last more than a one season. because you would think that it would be a miniseries like someone above me said, because once its revealed of how exactly Beck dies,then whats left to entertain people with? ya know? anyways i hope its on for atleast another season. :)
