So I recorded this movie on my DVR and it cut off right after they lifted him into the helicopter...what happened next?! I'm dying to know how it ended. Right before it cut off I think it was the moms talking in an voice over. If you could tell me that would be great thanks!

It didn't show anything else. The only ending was the voice over of the mom telling what happened. The son of course lives, but he had a crushed leg and nerves issues in his leg, and his kidneys both failed. They said he wouldn't likely have movement in his leg for 6 months or more, but he moved his toes in 3 days. He also needed facial reconstructive surgery. It turned out good ultimately for him, and his advice for people was to never tell yourself you can't do something. Reach for the stars and do it. Something to that effect.
