the fact this film has already been sitting on a shelf for 2
years doesn't bode well for its success. the same thing happened
with Serena starring Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper. the
two shot shot it right after Silver Linings Playbook and it
basically sat on a shelf for two years gathering dust. in was
finally released last June 2015 with a quickie 1 week run at
the Sunshine Cinema on Houston St.
This hasn't been on the shelf for two years. in November they were still test screening it. In April of this year, it was set for July 15. How could it have sat on the shelf when it was still in post-production?
shareMaybe he means that since the end of principle photography, the film's had two years of edits, re-edits, test screenings, more re-edits, more test screenings, re-re-edits, etc., and that this unusually prolonged period of post-production doesn't bode well for the movie.
