Is this a remake of Rasen/the Spiral?

Well... Rasen/the Spiral is the original sequel to the horror mystery thriller Ring(u).

Now, when I saw this movie here, I got a question... is this movie actually a remake of Rasen/the Spiral?

If it is, then I'll certainly go to see it when it comes out. :)

As far as I know, it's not a remake of anything. It's all original material. It's going to be excellent. Go to their website www.spiralthemovie.com to have any other questions answered.

No, I'm pretty sure this has nothing to do with The Ring, or Spiral, or Loop, or Rasen, whatever.

Coincedental that Amber Tamblyn was in Ring though... I thought the same thing, and it made no sense. Doesn't look anything like Spiral though...

Of course, she is also casted in The Grudge 2 too. I´m starting to see a pattern here.

Unfortunately, it appears as if it isn't. I was hoping it would be; or at least an American remake to Uzumaki/Vortex. Instead, it sounds like a generic drama/thriller.
