And of corse his skill. Other then that it sounds good. Just because it has familiar elements doesn't mean it won't be both good and original so please stop with the "it sounds like.." nonsense.
shareI agree. Like any other movie,there will be some who like it and some who don't. But this movie has a lot going for it already in 3 very talented actors who each bring their own fan following with them. Plus all the people who like "horror/psychological thrillers" to begin with will be interested.

You're right.James Marsters doesn't have the same "celebrity" as his former co-stars. He has more.I.e., in France when BTVS and ATS used to be aired, you could find more interviews, articles, posters about him than about all the others. And I don't think he just wanna be a movie star. Just read his interviews and you'll see ! What's more, he declined the proposition to be the star in his own series "Dresden Files" just because he wanna raise his children in California where his family lives.

shareI like to think so. The couple of times I've met him at Cons he has really impressed me. Both with his talent and knowledge(ask him anything,it's like listening to your favorite college professor) and ,even more, with the kind way he is to all the fans. I can't imagine anyone who meets him not coming away as a fan of James for life.

This why he didnt fall into the trap, to have a spotty movie resume as did most of the cast did including SMG. He wants to be recognize for his work not his status or buzz index!I'm amazed how people seem to think if the favorate actor is not is news every day, they assume they not getting offers.this why I feel he should have left the series at the end of season 5 when it peaked. He needed to move on work with different actors since the cast may have stifled him.

He must have thought this was a comedy when he read the script, then. Or he let his agent read it for him. And then he needs a new agent. Or maybe he needed some quick cash. Anyway you slice it, this was an awful movie, and no matter how good he was in anything else he's done, he bombed with his performance here, too.
