a little help here, please

heyz everybody
i was watching this on a coffeshop today and the subtitles disappeared just when "spike" and the "doc" are alone in the room where the comma guy is and he's trying to turn on the computer and I couldn't figure out what the hell they were saying..which was really frustrating cause I know thats were he explains it all. I could hear him saying that he was the one running that place, he didnt loose his memory and that the "doc" was his wife. I didnt get the rest, so I don't know what happened, what were they doing there, where did the shadowmonster come from.. Anyone wanna give me a little help?
