Quite Possibly the Worst movie I Have Ever Seen.

Okay, my cousin has connections with a friend at blockbuster, so he got this free membership card to the place. He can rent out two movies for free, return them the next day, get two more, and so on. The downside to this is that he's actually seen every movie that's worth seeing in the place. So, now he's resorted to getting stupid Horror/Comedy (whether intentional comedy or not) movies from the place. MHM was one of these rentals. By the end of the film, we had to agree that it was possibly the worst film either one of us had seen. The only reason we didn't stop it halfway through is because we thought it would get better...but it never did. We both had on a little bit of a buzz even, which would usually make things funnier, but at some parts of this movie we just looked at each other in amazment, asking "How in the hell was this ever released?" We couldn't even laugh at the acting. I understand it was supposed to be funny, but it just came off as pathetic. Especially that one 'Wigger' kid. Were his random ghetto quotes accompanied by the sudden beat of a rap song supposed to be funny? The only character we liked in the least was the Gas Station guy, and that's because he looked like an Asian Redneck, which neither of us had ever seen.

Just my opinion.

THANK U SO FREAKIN MUCH! lol I thought I was the only one who hated this movie! The acting is terrible, the storyline is stupid, and the scences that were supposed to be "funny" were terrible and cheesy!

I saw this movie the other night and like the lead post, I have seen all the good stuff at blockbuster and I am starting to venture into the unknown titles. Worst movie ever HELL NO! just keep digging the low budget bin and you can find some total #$%^%$#$% this wasn’t that bad, no budget, a bit of bad acting, but all in all It was watachable.

reply

Are you for real? how could you say that. it was so stupid me and my friends had to fast forward. The lights, acing, camera postions were bad. Everythings was bad. And was i the only one that noticed the camera lights in the r.v. window and when that girl slapped that guy she did it twice in a row, they forgot to edit!!!! what the hell! I would give it a -5 if it was up to me!

I guarantee you that I could do better.

And I also thought maybe it was supposed to be comedy, but on the IMDB page for it, comedy is not even listed as one of the categories. Maybe it isn't a comedy. Maybe it's just really bad.

What's up GreenFinger?

Couldn't resist jumping in here after the last comment. First of all this movie was always intended to be an over the top campy horror film. The characters are stereotype cut outs of every horror movie you've ever seen and this was done completely on purpose.

When a distributor takes control of your film they put it in the market slot they feel is best for them to market and make money on the movie. Just because it's not in a certain category on IMDB does not mean that the creator didn't have that in mind. It's about marketing the film which I have the utmost respect for.

On your comment "I guarantee you that I could do better." Well then hopefully MHM has inspired you to stop talking about someone else's work and to do something yourself. I'm sure you will have much success given your confidence. When you get your movie finished and distributed into Blockbuster and around the world please let me know and I'll give you a professional review.

Yo dude, i'm sure you tried your best but this just isn't that good. You were given a bugdet, try 2 use a little more creativity to put together a decent low-budget movie, there have been plenty made, like donnie darko, clerks and so on. This just isn't that good.

reply

Hi Wonderwallxpress -

Thanks for taking the time to watch the film. Can you tell me what specifically you did not like about MHM? Perhaps that could help me in the future.

You said there were plenty of movies made with low budgets and only mention two. For the record Donnie Darko is listed on IMDB as a budget of over $4 million bucks. I don't know about you but that's not too low budget in my opinion. While the original Clerks was around $27k what you may not realize is that they went back and re-shot the ending with a studio production crew. Plus the version you saw was significantly altered in post to get more quality. Final budget for Clerks is listed at $230,00 estimated (could have been more). If you don't believe me sign up for an IMDB Pro account and see for yourself.

Lastly, I was not "given" a budget as you state. I financed the movie myself, with money from my own pocket. Just wanted to clear up a little confusion that you may have had about the film and the ones you mentioned.

What's really sad is that the director himself is hanging around this post and trying to argue that his movie is better than people really think it is. An example of "over the top, campy" is Killer Klowns from Outer Space. This is just stupid and embarassing.

of course its a comedy. the title is Motor Home Massacre. it wouldn't have been more obvious if it had been called Mother-in-Law Massacre. or Lassie Massacre!

reply

I must agree with johnny. No way is this movie ever going to be winning any awards. However, dig deeper into the B movie bin and you will really find some crap! Check out Andre the Butcher. You will never look at another movie the same again.

Some people don't even finish a film. They did. I admire that.

This was quite possibly the worst film ever seen! The acting is hilarious of how bad it is, the blood is to fking fake. Do you remember the beginning when the girl got gutted a lot, well, that blood was terrible and the view, OMFG all you could see was the machete gutting into the tent with blood and the tent. This is also highly bad, for it's strong language and strong sex, nudity and aberrant sexual content. I would not worry about the violence since it is so fking fake. This was suppose to be a horror, not comedy. Check the imbd home for Motor Home Massacre, it will say Horror, Thriller, that's all. My dad and me rented MHM from our local blockbuster and looked at the back and thought it would be good. We also rented, "The Hills Have Eyes" 1977. The hills have eyes was quite dissapointing, for it's fake blood and weird mutants, but MHM, WTF!? We saw that after the hills have eyes, which we thought was dissapointing, but when we saw MHM, it was a whole new world of terribleness. When we were watching this we said to each other, "What The Hell is this god damn piece of *beep* Compared to this bitchy dooshbag, Hills Have Eyes was a fking masterpece for hell's sake! This was overrated for 2.7 on IMBD. it was very bad with pubic regions exposed with breasts and buttocks AKA asses. This is very bad in both ways, nudity way, and star rating way. AVOID THIS DOOSHBAG PIECE OF CRAP OR I WILL HAVE INTERCOURSE WITH YOU SEXY WOMEN!!!!!

reply

Dear ScreamForHelp -

Checked out your other comments and most of them are kind of negative and just as disjointed as this one. As I stated just two or three posts above (which I guess you didn't read) the distributor picks the genre for IMDB not the director. This is why it's listed as a horror only and not a comedy.

You seemed to be very concerned with the film's adult nature (which you mention a couple of times) which must have somehow offended you. The film is clearly rated R and I pulled this quote from the MPAA site "An R-rated film may include strong language, violence, nudity, drug abuse, other elements, or a combination of the above." So I'm not sure what you and your dad were expecting to see when you picked up the box. MHM is definitely not Bambi.

Considering how the sex must have offended you it was even more curious how you ended your comment saying that you will have "...INTERCOURSE WITH YOU SEXY WOMEN!!!!!". Not sure what that means either but oh well.

Thanks for taking the time to rent the movie.

Alan, great flick, but I feel you may have missed out by not having the two main female leads appear nude in it. Such a wasted opportunity....

reply

dear allen,

i respect the fact that you got your movie out there on the markets and all, but this is the worst movie i have ever seen. the only redeeming factor about it is the cover. that is reason i choose this movie. only problem is that there wasn't even a chainsaw in the whole @#$%&*@ movie.

there were just so many things that sucked about this movie. even all the hard core horror fans like me hate this movie (and beleive me ive seen some terrible stuff).

Hi KBtoys -

Thank you for the comment.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the film but there are a lot of people that did, many of them have even taken the time to post their comments here. Tastes are different that's for sure. Thanks again for taking the time to watch the movie ;)

If you're so worried about violence and sexual content, why are you watching horror films- Or at least maybe you should stick to PG, and PG-13 films. I guess I'll never understand why people watch horror films then complain about the violence and nudity.

As for Hills Have Eyes, the effects were very well done considering the budget and era it was made.

Hi GreenFinger, Are you finished that movie you were going to make which was going to be so much better than Motor Home Massacre?? Let me know when I can pick it up at my local Blockbuster!

I think every movie on Imdb has a worst movie ever thread. This is not even close to being the worst movie ever.....Go watch a few movies before you start saying crap like that....by the way...Its some funny *beep*

lola-love-

Believe it or not, in college I'm taking a video class and they assigned us with making a short film (only about 10 minutes in length). Although I doubt it'll break into blockbuster, the end result was a hilarious movie that everyone in the class enjoyed, and which we really enjoyed putting together.

Now, I would actually consider my brief film better than the entirety of MHM, but then again my movie may have sucked if it had to be an hour and a half. Mr. Alan, I don't disrespect you as a director, but I'm never skeptical while voicing my opinions, and my opinion really is that this is quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen (right after "bongwater"). I can quite honestly say that I will not be checking out "Evil Keg" anytime soon (or whenever you decide to bring it out), and that any horror comedies by you in the future I will try to avoid entirely. Different people have different tastes in movies, and I'm a huge fan of horror comedy movie, but this one seemed to be trying just a bit too hard. Some others on this site have enjoyed the movie, and I say congrats to you; speak your opinion. Even the most loved film of all time is bound to have it's negative critics, and although this one seems to have more bad than good, that's no reason to stop your filming career, Alan.

Although I may suggest that you check out some new actors for your future endeavors.

-Mike

Glad to you see you are getting out there and making movies bro. I'm sure you guys had a lot of fun and did a great job. Feel free to post a link here on this thread when you get up on Youtube. I would love to check it out.

I will have to say that putting together a 10 minute short is quite different than a feature length movie. Give the feature a try when you can, it's definitely a challenge worth attacking.

Obviously it's not what you know, but who you know that counts in getting a feature-length movie produced, as is obvious with this flick. I'm upset that I cannot give it lower than a "1" here on IMDB. This was like watching a porno without the porn!
