Movie changed for US DVD Version

Saw Manolete in January and Matador's Mistress in April - many changes were made which leave the movie less beautiful and less interesting than the earlier version. Earlier version had more black and white original photographs from the period which lent real beauty and substance to the film. Even the credits at the end were all photos. Newer version focuses more on the relationship by leaving out much supporting material that gives you a sense of Manolete and the time in which he lived. A Matador's Mistress is very disappointing - movie much less satisfying.

I wish I could have seen the original version, because the American version is pretty lame. The acting is mediocre and the editing is *beep* This version has no depth to it or character development. Very disappointing, though Adrian Brody provided some great eye candy, as usual.
