the ending???

SPOILERS ......













































The scene is the next morning and all the survivors are still inside.
They begin to walk out and see all the ravens are on the ground dead or near death (there's an intentionally funny scene when one raven weakly goes "kaw..." and croaks).

Then the Sheriff and his wife goes home. They talk a little bit and then head upstairs. When they get to the top of the stairs, we can hear the wind whistling like the windows are open. They both stop when they notice a lot of ravens inside their house. The movie ends with all the ravens attacking them.

(I guress we can expect Kaw 2 coming soon)

From what I saw , all the birds started dying as daylight approached . Everything seemed fine and the sheriff and his girlfriend went upstairs above the diner to rest or something and when they got to the second floor were attacked by about 20 of the 'KAW' ravens . End of movie . My question is , did the good looking woman who ran the diner make it ? I saw her pretty late in the movie but not in the end scene .
