Why Was Aidan Gillen Not Credited in Apocalyptic Scene?

Aidan Gillen: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0318821/bio appeared with an actress in the best scene, which was very apocalyptic, in which two people are lost on "a dirt road too small to even put on the map" when they come upon a tunnel with a pickup truck blocking the road inside it.

Aidan Gillen (born Aidan Murphy) was not listed in the credits (he is called "John" or "Don", I think, in the movie) though after he appeared it was all down-hill after that. Why was he not given a much bigger role - in fact, if the movie had centred on these two characters it would have been an amazing movie. I remember Aidan Gillen from "Wake Wood"(2011) (a horror movie said to have been made by Hammer, which has begun making movies again, though "Hammer" is not credited) and he was excellent in that, but I liked him even more in this movie. He is an amazing actor, natural, sincere, intriguing, and sustaining suspense and apprehension, so a great actor to be in a decent horror movie, don't you think? So why??? It is incomprehensible - these were the only two characters worth watching! (Apart from the ravens in the snow!) ... And the music was absolutely awful, too! ... How could they have got it so wrong?! As such it was, unfortunately, just mediocre!
