Has it been released yet? (I live in UK so we are a bit behind release dates compared to USA)

Yep, Emily Rose was pretty poor, but this, omfg, it was so cheap and tacky beyond belief... Acting and Camera work no better than in some naff porno flick, and I think the sound editor must have been drunk or on drugs.. And the story, ugghhhh... Ok, there was an exorcism in this movie, so the title is correct, but.. Oh, Ive had enough commenting on it, it's just not worthy... B movies can be good, just not this one.. If you take pleasure from seeing cheap and nasty excuses for a spooky B movie then sure, watch this, the girlies get their tits out as usual in true B movie style, but there aint nothing else really worth remembering this 90 minutes of crud for..

I dyin' here!

This film isn't even on the shelves and you got to see it -- did I miss something? Did it play in the theatre and I glossed over it on my way to see KING KONG?

I'm a fan of this genre and was wondering how you were able to see it before anyone else. Did you work on it? Or, if it was playing at a theatre, which one 'cause I want to go!!!

THANKS!

I thought it was going to be shown at the cinema, but apparently, looking around the internet it appears it has come straight out on DVD which was released on 30th or 31st Jan in USA, there was no information about when it would be released in UK though - I haven't seen it yet, I will probably have a peek when it is released in UK though lol

All these big budget movies have a lot more money to pay there crappy actors this one the actors Rocked and made this movie awesome! Yeah some of the sound was messed up, but all in all the movie was great the two female leads are talented as well as beautiful.AND it doesn't have to be a B movie style for actors to show there "tits as you say" check out mrskin.com almost EVERY A list actress has shown there tits both charlize and halle berry won Oscars for showing there tits!

Plant says what?

Regardless, I saw this hoping it would at least be so bad it was good, and it didn't even accomplish that feat. It's a really bad movie, a really cheap knock off of "Emily Rose", "The Entity" and all "The Exorcist" films, and not because it involves an exorcism, but because there are so many things that resembled the former, including having someone in a white sheet walk by really quickly. Give me a break.

I agree. Gail Bowers was much more graphic, raw, and real in comparison to Emily Rose.

Disappointed by Emily Rose? That movie scared the *beep* out of me!! It was psychologically disturbing and once was enough for me. It hits home when you have epilepsy yourself.

The Possession of Gail Bowers was on Zone Horror TV in England last night at 00.45 hours.

I didn't like it, it wasn't a patch on The Exorcist OR Emily Rose in my opinion. Gail Bowers face during the exorcism smacked bigtime of The Exorcist as did some of the storyline (ouija board being another part).

The annoyance of the characters near the end of the movie just about sent me to distraction. The sister for instance, "do NOT enter the room, no matter what happens!" the Exorcist demands. What does she do?? Bursts in and puts everyone's life at risk!

The psychiatrist's insistence that he "now take over, lest the girl be at extreme danger" just about did me in too. Having said that, a true-life case did feature such a thing, so that isn't so farfetched actually.

I am quite sure that during true-life exorcisms, the Exorcist briefs all those that will attend on the things to do and not to do and they are to follow his lead at all times, this was missing from the film, perhaps this is why it seemed too much for me.
