shareit might not be an instant classic like the original When A Stranger Calls but heck, it's a million times better than the remake that came out earlier this year. that movie was atrocious. this movie at leats has violence killing, blood, boobs, a selected hit cast memeber or two. it's far superior to the crap studio re-do that Sony seemed to think we needed so bad!! more power to The Asylum!!
shareWell, at least WASC did not use sex, violence, nor gore to scare or to let the audience watch them! WASC used real suspense and with great thrills. I can't believe people hated the remake.

shareThis movie was quite a bit better then some of the others I have seen lately. I actually was *hating* the "madman". Good acting. And Frank was a real p**ick. Good acting again.
And I was SO happpy that Trisha did not stop at one shot at the end. She didn't go crazy, but she finished it. You don't see that too often. Usually it's like, shoot once, turn, and then madman gets up again. Nope, she done shot him GOOD.

I agree! This movie sucked, When A Stranger Calls was far better. I thought this movie was funny, and very predictable. Stranger was too, but this one was even more. And the chick that played the babysitter was soo annoying! She just pissed me off throughout the whole thing. And the blood looked like chocolate syrup. I know the killer was pretty much torturing them at the end, but c'mon, it was pretty stupid. The writing sucked, and the acting was far worse.
