I don't plan to see it, so I'm just interested: Who dies, who lives, what happens to the killer?
sharethe parents die,the little girl dies,the boyfriend dies,the boyfriends friend frank and his girlfriend die,the babysitter lives,and she shoots the killer and walks off. it was also much better then when a stranger calls.
shareThis was NOT better than When a Stranger Calls. This has all the gore. The slashing and gashing is all here and it still wasn't suspenseful or scary to me. I wasn't scared much during When a Stranger Calls, either, but I had more suspenseful moments and was more interesting in When a Stranger Calls.

Horror movies today mostly always the main hottie lives.
Bit of a pathetic storyline though, the killer goes to all that trouble killing people and then says he did it just for her (Trish).

Scream was a great movie. Great direction, great location, great cast, etc. This movie was uncreative and low budget like hell. This movie stereotyped all the characters, and the sad thing is, the only character that you didn't care about lived or die, lives, and EVERYONE ELSE dies. Let's not forget the age-old ending sequence. After shooting or stabbing the killer, the blonde hottie walks down the sunlit street with the weapon in her hand, leaving behind about 5 dead bodies in the house. In here, she actually left behind 8 dead bodies.

This woudn't even come CLOSE to When A Stranger Calls, this film sucks, you disgusting freak. This film was hideous, they killed the kids ONSCREEN.
