Surprisingly Good!

I watched it on Shotime last night. It was really good. I especially loved the music. I'm surprised that it take so long to release it.

I just saw it on Showtime too! I thought it was really good! It reminded me a little of Love, Actually in the way that the stories wound together (obviously, it's a little different because Love Actually has a bunch of different storylines and this one has different takes on one storyline).

I'm not. I saw this film at Slamdance in 2007, and it was just as bad as I remember.

That's all I could think during the movie as well was how much I was actually enjoying it, haha. It reminded me a lot of The Rules of Attraction, but better.

Glad to hear it's a good flick. It would be a tragedy if a movie starring both Amber Heard and Katie Cassidy turned out to suck, especially after taking years to release.

Hopefully I find it to be at least decent!

Tragedy, melodrama, or farce?

Yes, it was surprisingly good... Highly underrated... Even better on 2nd viewing.... Soon to become a Gen-Y cult classic?

Style reminded me of Snatch... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0208092/

Lots of fast cuts... Told from multiple viewpoints... Good ensemble cast... Wraparound timeline... Clever, ironic situations... Good dialogue, well acted... Subtle changes in facial expressions reveal thoughts, decisions, and mood shifts wordlessly... Stray dog as deus-ex-machina...

Seen on Encore this month... Billed as a Romantic Comedy... But not your mother's romantic comedy!

Sex, weird drugs, young LA club scene...

You will never be this this young, this cool, this careless, or this carefree ever again.

I caught it on Netflix and I am glad I did. What a great little movie. I liked that things worked out a little unexpectedly.

I enjoyed it too. This is the type of movie though that rarely gets any credit because of its select audience. It's aimed at younger people and older people who can't grow up. Nowadays not many of those crowds watch movies, at least small independent movies. Consequently, you get older bitter movie goers trashing films like Spin who don't really have any business watching it in the first place. Regardless, I thought it was very good. I loved the pace and the music. It in many ways felt like a feature film length music video.
