I didn't get it either.

I just now watched this movie...loved it by the way...but I took it as meaning she loved her failed relationships and poor choices in men because they made and continue to make her who she is. She deemed Ryan a really great guy or a "success" and maybe that scared her or maybe she just wasng ready for such a thing.
