Anyone hate that join me for Solitary___.0 stuff?

they've been doing this since season 2. where after a contestant wins val blacks out the room and tells them to stay for the next solitary. anyone else hate this? it looks like it's gonna be the continuing formula from now on after watch 3.0.

i mean i question whether that part is staged or just a slightly twisted joke. where 2 seconds after they scream the producers come in and say "dude were just jerking you around you can go on and get the *beep* out of here". what do you guys think? also to add on to this i liked it better in season 1 where i vaguely remember it showed the contestants going home and reflecting on their victories. i find this ambiguous black-out-room-stay with me-ahhh!!!!- stuff in bad taste.

I was coming here to make this topic... I was like... "WTF!? They did that the last couple of times too! they need something new"

it was the cool the first time...second time was all like "haha I yes! like the first" and the third time was all like "Hmm... okay..."

This was the first season I caught (terrific show, btw) but even I thought it was a bit strange how they ended it. I think it would be a sweet sendoff if the winner actually returned for the next season to attempt to keep the title and get a shot at more money ... but I don't think that's how it goes.

Maybe they just do that to assure the viewers it'll be back for another season.

it was obviously a joke, or did you think they really killed the first person who won season 1 as well?

they switched to the "stay in solitary" ending because "killing the winner" at the end of season 1 was considered too cruel

both endings (kill or stay) are of course staged, the winners are let out and paid

this can be seen on the reunion episodes
