Meh...

So I went on a buying binge of vampire movies cause I just needed some good old fasioned blood sucking this holiday season and this movie LOOKED so promising. Alas, I was so disappointed. This movie was very "Horror movie of the week" to me. The kills were ok, but I didn't give a rats patooey about any of the characters. And what the heck was up with the WAY too long withdraw scene? I felt like I was watching a really bad version of "Trainspotting" but with vampires. I'm not at all picky about movies and this came highly recommended, but I just didn't like it. I had more fun with the classics "Near Dark" and "Innocent Blood".
