vampires?
Is it about vampires?
If so how strange....Tom Lenk and Clare Kramer are in it both Buffy veterans.

Also, Adam Baldwin, who was on Angel. Also Joss Whedon's other show, Firefly.
shareIf this is a vampire film, I won't bother watching it unless they bother to give them vampire fangs. I am so sick of films that are too cheap to give them fangs.
Plus years ago there was a crap film called The Thirst. I wonder if this is a remake. I hope not. It stunk and the vamps had no fangs......It ws pure poo on film.
No fangs.

"Expect a lot of blood, but don't expect the vamps to have fangs."

Vamps with no fangs, I can live with, as long as it's like Near Dark and not like The Addiction.
Fangs are actually a Bram Stoker era addition.
The novel, not the movie--
Historically, vampire tales do not include any mention of fangs. I think this might have even been mentioned on The X-Files.

Are you referring to the movie called "The Hunger", with David Bowie?
I don't care too much if vampires have fangs or not. What I'm sick of is when fangs occure, is that they are showing their fangs a little too often, it is like a bodybuilder who has to show his muscles all the time. And I don't like the stupid hissing or whispering sounds many of them are making either.
Before Bram Stoker wrote Dracula and made vampires into artistocrats, I have heard they were more like walking corpses, like ghosts in rotting flesh and blood, more like zombies. And when they sucked blood from their victims, they chosed the left side of the breast, the place closest to the heart. But because it seems a little too erotic back then, Stoker removed the bite to the neck.
No, there was a flick called The Thirst. I think the lead chick was named Chantel Christol, or something like that. They didn't have real fangs, but had ceremonial ones the could put in for rituals, etc (I think). They (the "vamps") had a sort of blood bank colony where they would harvest people for their blood. For its time, I didn't think The Thirst was half bad. Although, I like "real" fangs on my vamps too. The less CGI looking the better (ala Salem's Lot remake).
shareOK my bad...it's simply Thirst (from 1979). The chick's name is Chantal Contouri. I had to look it up. I love vampire films...good (Blade, Near Dark) or bad (Count Yorga anyone??!!)
shareYou think that fangs are omitted for cost reasons?? I hope you are joking, and not just too lame to figure out that some fangs are fairly inexpensive.

shareI hope they aren't euro trash vamps, or street gang vamps, or angsty goth vamps.
shareYes but they burn in the sunlight and not sparkle.
The name is Stephen and I'm male.
