Why so few posts?

I saw this film on dvd for the second time last night, and it was just as stunning emotionally and visually as it was when I first saw it. Superb acting, a heartbreaking story, another look at history from the perspective of one who learns about his family. Apparently this film did not do well in theaters? I fail to see why.
