God loves us and gives us the choice to believe in Him. If He does not exist, what bitter and violent attitudes of humanity towards those who do believe. If He does not exist we will never find out. If He does exist, we will.
Christ came for us in that while we were yet sinners (torturers, liars, adulters, murderers...) He died for us.
Based on the tone as well as the unnecessary existence of this post on a board regarding a film that works off the preconceived idea that God DOES exist, I would say your words are falling on deaf ears.
