He turned down Head and a Million Dollars?

Dude had some discipline.

Funny enough, he was more tempted for the head rather than the one million lol

Some people just have ethics. They genuinely don't want to be disloyal to the partner they love, and they genuinely don't just want to let an unstable friend give them money. It's called having a personal moral compass.

reply

That Donna Remar lady sure had a shattered moral compass. She was cheated on by her husband, and yet she was aggressively hitting on Alan, who told her he's married, and from his demeanor, was obviously not a cheater.

As beautiful as she was, you have to wonder if being with a woman like that would be healthy for Charlie, even in the short run.

Dear Ndugu, how are you? I am fine.

reply

I totally agree -- when things started to look like she was going to end up with Charlie, I was actually saying out loud to my TV "Whaaaat?? How is that going to be a good thing???"

I thought she was an awful woman. I realize she was in pain too, with the bad divorce and all, but that's still no excuse for not only hitting on Alan but then threatening his practice with a lawsuit over a fabricated reversal of that situation! That's unforgiveable.

Alan shouldn't even have let her back into their lives, but there she is with him and Charlie at the end. Not healthy at all, no. Horrible. I was not happy with that turn of events.

Johnson was easily one of the nicest, most likeable characters I've ever seen in a movie. He was the only character that actually benefitted from Charlie's presence because he was the only one actually trying to help him out of the goodness of his heart. Don Cheadle played the role perfect!

I could turn down the $1 million, but no way am I turning down a hummer from Saffron Burrows. And, you *know* she's going to put in work.

So marital fidelity is inversely proportionate to the attractiveness of every other woman out there? Nice. Be sure to share that with your wife. I'm sure she'll be impressed.

reply

If that was me I would have taken both

reply

I would have let her blow me..... Anytime she wanted.
