I actually like Phat Girlz

Go ahead and criticize, but Phat Girlz is actually one of my favorite films, even as a 5'7, size six woman. The "skinny bitch" comments didn't bother me at all because there is a major difference between a skinny woman and a skinny bitch; the women Jazmin and Stacy met truly were skinny bitches. All of them were inconsiderate of Jazmin, made especially rude comments, and were too quick to judge based around weight.
I thought it was a really good take on issues with body image and people who have come to loathe their bodies for one reason or another. Phat Girlz has been one of my favorite movies because I saw it right after repeated surgeries to restore my hearing failed and I hated my body for being hearing impaired. Granted, Phat Girlz was not as funny as The Hangover, but it was humorous enough to help me through a really hard time.
