I thought it was pretty damn entertaining and very well executed on a limited budget. Thomas Jane was great and there's no skimping on the gore - although I hate the CG blood, which comes off as too cartoonish. Overall, it's definitely worth seeing and a fun entry in the steampunk genre.
shareYeah the CGI blood tended to look way off in terms of color and that did take a little from the movie. I'd prefer if they called it something other than Mutant Chronicles though since they never really followed the story or put in the proper cast for it. Still I enjoyed it and got the director's cut.
