i saw this film at the cinema and bought the uk dvd.just had a chance to see the US directors cut [which removes about 11 mins] and it works even better.all in all a decent little sci fi horror film.some problems [digital fx etc] but with some of the unnecessary elements now removed it moves along at a much faster pace.

Also, what are the extras like on the American release? Hopefully some good stuff.

It's shorter, but makes it more of a guys on a mission to kick some ass movie.
I liked this film.
Waaay underrated. 6 outta 10 for me.
the US version comes as a single disc with directors com track.or a double disc with loads of extras.making of,short film,interviews fx work etc.the american directors cut removes 11 mins of talking and things that slow the plot down.it feels much tighter and the action comes much faster.
