and then reappearing later on again when they were dropping into the hole where they turned them into mutants?
i just deleted the movie after i finished it since i thought it was pretty bad, and i forgot to check it.
No, she sort of just disappeared as the director focused on other characters. It was shown that she was captured.

She(devon a) like all the others were wounded and captured. The only ones to escape capture were the other girl(anna walton) and the main sgt character(thomas Jane).
Then those two rescue the the asian girl and the german guy who are being dragged to the machine. The two guys then lower the two girls into the machine but mutants are coming so the german guy blows himself up leaving the two girls and the sgt to stop the machine.
