Is this a copy of Back to the Future II ?

I read the synopsis of the movie on wikipedia and felt that the story has a strong resemblence to 'Back to Future II (1989)', because many of the characters seem similar to the original. eg. the character of Boman Irani i.e. Dr. Yatindar Khanna is similar to the one of the eccentric scientist Dr. Emmett Brown played by Christopher Lloyd in BTTF II. And the happy go lucky character of Karan played by Harman Baweja seems to be a plain rip off of Marty McFly played by Micheal J. Fox. And then there is the villian Dr. Hoshi who resembles Biff Tannen. Also there is a robotic teddy bear, which the makers seemed to have picked from 'Artificial Intelligence (2001)'
