This movie is a bore..please avoid it at all costs..iwish baweja had spent some money on the script and story instead of those lavish sets..

This is the worst movie I have seen of my own free will, ever. Wafer thin characters, appalling dialogue and the worst part... it goes on and on and on and on... It really is a miserable piece of film-making. It was fun for the first half, spotting locations, otherwise it was an utter waste of time, money and effort for everyone involved, right through to the audience.

The first half was boring, predictable, and poorly written...and then it really got bad.
The year 2050 scenes were so hard to watch: a future that consists of annoying Teddy Ruxpin personal assistants, Xbox 360s (yeah, they'll still be a dominant console in 40 years), and some guy named Pedro. And the tacked on action movie plot in the last 20 minutes made no logical sense. It was an action sequence for the sake of nothing but the director wanting to shoot an action sequence.
It was so bad. So poorly written. The directing and acting weren't terrible, but what does that matter when the story is garbage?
What the hell is it with Bollywood? Why is it that the offspring of directors is only allowed tostar in big roles?? Especially when they are terrible at acting, wooden and robotic... but they can dance! Hrithik Bane-ja (oh, sorry, Harman Baweja) cannot act, he was so dull, he just doesn't possess the charisma and screen prescene, neither acting skill to be a certified hero in Bollywood, i just felt sleepy.
The first half was painstakingly corny, bad dialogue and annoying, pointless characters. Just like every other by-the-numbers romance schlock from the 90's. The second half was filled with flying cars, talking billboards and everything else seen in Hollywood movies like 'I-Robot', 'The Fifth Element' etc. The action and CGI was a notable rip-off of the futuristic comic-strip inspired Hong Kong sci-fi actioner 'The Avenging Fist', then again a lot of the setting was like 'The Avenging Fist', but this movie is just plain boring and just pointless.

Are you on drugs? Iwatched JTYJN and thought it was a thousand times better, it had a script, the performances were believable and it was quite intelligent compared to 2050. I think box office results speak for themselves. What the hell is it with your hate campagin against JTYJN?
agree. I walked into the screen after having finished another movie and started watching it 3/4ths of the way in. whatever little I saw was absolutely mind numbingly dumb! bad acting, bad dialogue, cheesy characters (sec-c anyone?) sums it up quite well. the money spent on this trash could have been used to save thousands of starving lives in many parts of the world.
avoid at all costs else prepare to lose a few points off yr IQ after and during viewing.
