Probably the trashiest piece of cinema i've ever come across, Love Story 2050.
Predictable storyline, one-dimensional characters, boring dialogues and just an overall disaster!

LS:2050 is a bad blend of Hollywood sci-fi's such as:
1) Back to the Future(the whole "doc" thing with Boman Irani)
2) The Time Machine(the basic idea of time travel and also the holographic screens)
3) I,Robot(some fight scenes)
4) The Fifth Element(the whole setting of Mumbai 2050 and Priyanka's red hair!)
5) Ultraviolet(the henchmen and the way they are killed)
...
And there were a few more, but i cant remember all their names.
Not a bad effort at the CGI i must say(for a Bollywood movie), but that said, Still way under par from what I had expected (which was almost nil to begin with anyway).

Seriously, Bollywood should invest in some good scripts instead of just lifting storylines from Hollywood or just making a boring, crap film!
I'm not saying that Bollywood doesn't have good films...its just that trash like this is just unbearable in my honest bloody opinion!

you are a 100% correct, normally i dont trash the indian film industry.. but some film makers in india done have

1. any talent (david dhawan, harry baweja, vikram bhatt)
2. no concept or clue what they are doing
3. do not take time to research or understand the basic concept of the film they are going to make

haryr baweja made such superflops as quamat (the rock copy/remake) and Teesri Aankh, Main Aisa Hi Hoon (i am sam remake)

and the jackarse thought he could crack a easy subject like sci-fi which doesnt have any depth or emotion involved... WRONG!!!!!

to make a film like bicentiinial man, or i,robot or A.I or minority report it requires genius in film making

rakesh roshan has the streak of a genius in films, he understands certain things, he cracked the E.T and the superhero genre very well...

harry baweja hasnt the 0.001% talent that spielberg or george lucas has to make sci-fi films

This is YOUR LIFE and it is ending one minute at a time!

vikram bhatt,david dhawan and harry baweja only know to copy(ctrl-c being the only command on their pc)

I agree with both of you, 100%.

This movie is one of the absolute worsts I've ever seen.

Adding to your list :

6. star wars fight
7. "Boo" the pet is copied from AI .. but that was a classic AI movie .. no comparision

and lot more science fiction copy .. One thing I tell .. The script writer did a lot of research watching science fiction movies .. but poor guy never understood science fiction LOL

and the animation , could it get more worse :(

Bollywood should stop copying .. I always wondered how could "koi mil gaya " be a hit .. but love story 2050 has gone beyond any expectation I had .. !!!

50 crores movie .. OMG such a waste of money

koi mil gaya was a hit coz it was a good underdog story and had brilliant acting from hrithik.
