What is wrong with modern British filmaking

There are 141 instances of the F work in this film, about 1.6 per minute. In fact there are so many it loses its impact.

What makes you think it's there for impact? It's a reflection of the way some people talk in real life.

Obviously I'm not in the same situation as those people in the film. I'm at university but the conversations between me and my mates are just as frequently filled with f words.

According to Wiki's list, Nil By Mouth has the highest per minute rate (3.34) It is a brutal "kitchen sink" drama set in London. I would recommend it to those who can stomach it.

"Jordan Belfort’s memoir upon which the movie Wolf of Wall Street is based uses the f-word 737 times."
