The thing I find amazing about Michael Sheen is that he seems to be able to take on the persona of the real person he's playing, rather than just imitate them. What was amazing about this portrayal, to me, was that he gave us the Kenneth Williams persona and mannerisms we're used to from his performances, but showed us a real person behind them. They didn't shy away from the sadnesses and unfulfilled aspects of his life, but I was glad it wasn't exploitative; I thought it was gently and quite considerately handled.
You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.
