How long have people waited for this film now??
The film has been recut and now has a new score and 5.1 sound mix. Release could be in 2007 but maybe 2008. It's well worth the wait.
shareI saw it at the berlin film festival last Feb, 2007, was ready, finished the cutting and had a fantastic soundtrack, I dont know what are they waiting for, is not that great. I was seating like 2 seats on the right of the director, we where about 20 plp on the EFM premiere.

I sadly took part in some of the fliming of this piece of *beep* The so called "actors" were all absolutely pathetic, with the main character being played by someone whos only achievement so far is being in Emerdale!! wooohoo. The worst part is he honestly believed he was some big movie star, shouting at the director and getting all angry when they had to do more than one take!!
The people who made this wanky film had NO IDEA about cars at all and if it had been left up to them they would have used soundbites of missfiring cars!!
I sincerely hope this dog turd of a movie never sees the light of day

shareHmmm. Subaru. Gather that was from the first session of filming as in the second session no subarus were used as main cars. You're right, no-one had a clue about cars hence the reason we were asked to help out.
The actors in my view were well behaved on set, I don't know where you were Jim, I didn't see a strop? I didn't think the acting was the greatest but when I actually "WATCHED" the film I changed my mind.
It will be out early in 2008 from what I've heard, there is a test screening in January at a Cineworld so things must nearly be there.

shareJust seen a screening in Cheltenham Cineworld. Thought it was great and an interesting Q and A with Mark Jay and actors afterwards. The Daily Mail will probably say a poor man's Fast and Furious but a much deeper film that that with grippy action and love story. Very gritty accurate potrayal of kids today with no Hollywood polish.
