Best Martial Arts movie ever
not even Bruce Lee could take guys so much bigger than him
shareWatch Warrior, Bloodsport, Undisputed 2 & 3 those are better Martial Arts films.
shareI don't think he was serious. The Bruce Lee comment should have given that away.
shareso does Rob really know martial arts?
sharei would think that he would have to learn some for the movie.
shareFrom an interview, he says he trained 5 hours a day for 7 months for this movie. Also, he was taught by Dan Inosanto, the head of JKD now & friend of Bruce Lee, the same guy who taught Bruce Lee about nunchucks (filipino version). He also learned escrima, the martial art of the Philippines, so I don't know if that was intentional due to his background. I notice Rob will sometimes insert things about his Filipino background into his movies.

Global Warming, it's a personal decision innit? - Nigel Tufnel
He spent 7 month training with Bruce Lee's #1 student or somthing. They did actually live together for those 7 month. So yes. He knows som stuff. Naturally just what he needed for the movie but 7 month can teach you a few things if you spend a few hours every day training.
It's no 'Dolomite', but it's close.
