Horrible, Even for a RomCom

I'm not the biggest fan o romantic comedies but some can be cute. This though, SO BAD.

So cliché, so annoying, so unrealistic.

Daphne was a horrible mom, I wanted to yell at her the entire time. And who the heck writes a personal ad for their daughter? And who talks about orgasms with their mother? Ew.

Millie was so needy and dramatic. Sleeping with two men and you don't expect them to find out about each other? Dumb.

It was obvious from the beginning that she would pick Johnny, but the end was horrible. Daphne got the good ending even though we watched the whole movie invested in Millie. Sure she's with Johnny, but no marriage, or future plans? If you're gonna be a cliché movie then might as well give us something. And the awkward old people kiss scene, what the heck was that?

Ugh, no wonder this only got one star on Comcast.

Agreed. It was so unbelievably cringeworthy. It has the distinction of being the only movie I've ever shut off before it was over.

Terrible, terrible movie.

Sadly I have to entirely agree. The movie was recommended to me but I found that I couldn't watch it all in one sitting. Most of the characters were just too annoying and then the ending was a huge let down. Having to sit through this awful movie I at least expected the normal rom/com ending but was disappointed with it just as I was with the whole movie. Who cares about a happy ending for secondary characters when you invest time and hope for that ending with the primary couple?

I did however discover a new line used by women to excuse or downplay their behavior when caught sleeping with someone else. Along with "it was a mistake" and "it didn't mean anything", there is now "it's not who I am".
