So confusing. Johnny started dating her *because* he knew her mom was setting her up with someone else. How was he surprised to learn she was dating him? How did she not call *beep* on his outrage?

I think maybe he thought she would've called it off with the other guy after they slept together. Maybe because they were dating for a while and he assumed he was the only guy she was seeing. Idk, this movie is horrible lol

I agree, that's how I interpreted that scene as well.

Also I take it that Johnny couldn't fathom Millie to actually continue dating that "type of guy" since he told her mom in the beginning he was the better choice for Millie. I guess he was shocked to see that she was dating them both at the same time. Instead of dumping the other guy from the start.
