I love it despite

I approached this movie with apprehension because i am a supporter of the war on terror. Politics aside, this movie is amazing. The performances are top notch, and Rupert Evans is quite simply the greatest actor out there today. He was incredibly believable as both Ali and Jeb, and makes this film worth watching for his acting alone. The music and photography were both excellent as well. Although the pace was slow, Rupert Evans makes this movie compelling to watch, so i never found myself being bored at all.

I have just watched the DVD of this movie and agree that Rupert Evans is abolutely superb. No matter what you think of the film, which is slow but very powerful, Ruperts performance will keep you gripped right up to the end.
Why is he so underused? Brilliiant in the TV series The Palace and Fingersmith he should be up there in the top 10 actors in films today.
