Does anyone know where the ranch is located?
I read somewhere that it was owned by Hillary Duff's family for a while.
Is it in Austin?

Its in Texas as Amber Heard said she did some movies in LA then got this movie and was headed back home which for her is Austin so I guess so?

I watched the film again today and its filmed in Bastrop Texas too!

Austin, and out in Bastrop which is a short drive out into in the southeast part of the greater metropolitan Austin region.
