Everybody looks alike

I guess I've always had this problem - blonde beauty queens look the same to me, so I had a hard time telling the characters apart. I don't blame the film, that's just the way it is.
However, I wonder if anyone else has the same problem? I like thriller/horror films, but I was particularly watching this one because of the recent Depp/Heard divorce controversy and I couldn't keep track of which one was Amber. Oh well, best of luck to everyone, and this movie seemed fine for what it was.

I don't get the confusion because there are only two blondes -- Mandy (Heard) and Chloe. Mandy is shy and respectable while the latter is the opposite. Mandy is cute while Chloe is, at best, prissy pretty. They're not hard to distinguish.
