Confused?

I just saw this film advertised on the "hollywood reporter" website.

It had Chris Penn in the trailer, and then i realised chris pen died in 2006, and this film is being released in 2015.

How does that work? was this filmed years ago? and Chirs Died, and only now being finalised?
